Thanks. Really interesting. Yes, power for anyone is addictive if powerlessness has been entirely unsafe. I had a little look at the life of Marilyn Monroe through this lens. Not aggressive and not only narcissistic, but narcissistic just the same.

Another excellent article Nathalie!

I’m currently dealing with bullying in my new job from a Gen Zer, and I’m an elder millennial that’s had to take several steps down in my career to join a particular organisation. Having to stick within the lower-level box is taking its toll when it comes to her. The reality of “exclusion” really weighs on me despite being older and wiser (though it may not seem like it!). My way of getting through it is to be nice to her, however the passive aggression is becoming really difficult. Thank you for your knowledge and guidance in your work.

This a great summary, I liek the break down and themes.

My only comment as a GenXer is that I have also experience bullying from Boomer women. I think it is not so much specific to the generation as much as who is higher up in the power structure.

Really like the themes—they helps me see patterns of aggression from my own life.

I found this piece very interesting.

I am a little confused about who might fall into this category. I follow some excellent people on social media such as

And find that their work that looks at the systemic and structural issues in accessing healthcare so affirming to me.

As I have been dismissed and disabled by these institutions. Naturally I am traumatised by my experiences and seek to understand these institutions better.

I also trained as an OT years ago and always left off in these places. Like everyone was following a script that I didn't get.
